One of my favorite quotes by Maya Angelou says this::

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing.

She goes where she will without pretense

and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself

and only herself.

I have been thinking about this quote a lot lately, along with the Rumi quote that serves as a theme for this blog.

I want to be a woman of raindrops and rivers,

without pretense,

whose voice carries like the rain, not the thunder.

This blog is my space, my place to let my voice flow.

May I simply pour out what God pours in.
