This life I lead
the friends I choose
we are all on a journey
and limp confused.

With authority,
we pomp
opinions,
really.

My life gives it authenticity.
As yours does to you.

Our collective voices.

What to do?
When it clashes.

I take your hand,
I link my arm in yours.

We look to the heavens
and call out
to the
Giver of All Things.

His response
is
“stop wasting time!”

You in your corner,
I in mine.

Time is precious.
There is much to do.

Get up.
Go.
Stop spending so much
of what I gave you.
